Lord Vishnu is the sustainer of all worlds and the director of everything what happens. This special Vigraha is made in a very typical but unique style of south india from the ancient time of Vijayanagara dynasty (14th century AD). He has his right blessing hand up, while the other is resting on his side. In his upper hands he holds the powerful symbols of purity (conch) and time (firewheel in Prayoga type). All His features are very exclusive, like the upavitra (holy threat), Kundalas (earrings) and even srivatsa (chest emblem) and fingerrings are made very in detail. His crown is opulent carved and His sparsha* view and eyes are very capturing. A very unique form made in a masterpiece!
